People who have always known you as quiet or reserved may feel uncomfortable when they begin to see the change in you—the new boldness, courage, and quiet confidence you've found as you grow deeper in understanding and in your walk with Christ. As you slowly become the person God is calling you to be.
Don't be discouraged or negatively affected by their reaction. It's part of the process.
There's nothing wrong with you. You're simply operating differently than before. You're carrying a confidence and strength people may not be used to seeing from you.
Some people will embrace the change and support you. Others may resent it, criticize it, or distance themselves from you. Some may even say you're becoming proud. Whatever their response may be, don't allow it to determine your path or make you diminish any part of yourself.
What matters most is that GOD is with you. He's doing a new thing in you.
So stay the course, stay grounded, and always stay humble.
Keep your eyes on him at all times, and you'll be just fine.
