There is a school every believer must attend.
It doesn't have a physical campus. There are no entrance exams or tuition fees. Yet the lessons taught there have the power to transform your life forever.
It's a school unlike any other—a school that trains those who are serious about their walk with Christ. It's the school of the Holy Spirit.
Before Jesus returned to the Father, he promised that the Holy Spirit would come to teach his followers and lead them into truth: "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit... He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26)
God never intended for his children to navigate life alone. He gave us the Holy Spirit to teach us, correct us, guide us, and transform us into the likeness of Christ. Every believer is invited to become a student in his classroom.
The Holy Spirit is the best Teacher you could ever have. He's also, at times, a tough Teacher. Not because he's harsh, but because our flesh (natural desires) is constantly at war with our spirit (Gal. 5:16-17). His lessons require surrender, obedience, and a willingness to lay aside our own desires. That can be a struggle, naturally.
Yet, I can assure you that enrolling in his school is one of the greatest investments you'll ever make.
Do you want to hear God's voice more clearly? Do you want wisdom to make the right choices and decisions? Do you desire lasting peace and joy? Do you want to grow in kindness, gentleness, and self-control?
Teacher Holy Spirit will show you how (1 Cor. 2:12–14).
Do you want to understand the Bible more deeply? Do you want clarity about the dreams and visions God has been giving you? Do you want discernment to know whether the doctrines you hear are truly rooted in Scripture and from the Lord?
The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).
Enrolling in this school is the only way to truly grow and live the life God has called us to live as believers. There's no substitute for the teaching and leading of the Holy Spirit. He transforms us from the inside out, shaping us into the image of Christ and equipping us to walk in God's will every day.
What will it cost you? Nothing—except your will.
You'll be trading your will for the Spirit's will. There'll be moments when that exchange feels difficult, but it's always worth it. Every lesson he teaches and every correction he gives is for your good and for God's glory.
So enroll today by praying:
"Holy Spirit, I surrender my will to you—come and teach me the way to live. Help me to listen to you and obey you. Sharpen my ears to hear your promptings, and give me the grace to be obedient to your instructions. In Jesus' name, amen."
